Oftentimes, homeowners renovate to install safety features not only to protect their families but to prevent lawsuits and potential liability. Per Washington State Department of Health, there must be an appropriate barrier surrounding your pool. Depending on the city or county, a motorized pool safety cover may make other barrier requirements optional. A fact that is especially important when considering your pool design preferences.
3. Your Pool Looks Dated
Over time, tile fades, plaster stains and mottles, and man-made rock formations might not match your modern minimalist preferences.
